I had paint swatches taped to my walls for four years because I’m so darn indecisive.
But I FINALLY picked paint colors and started painting my own home. I decided to just make a decision and start painting! I picked light neutral colors with warm undertones. I’m freshening up the ceilings, trim, and walls throughout the entire first floor.
I also decided to tear up the carpet in the living room and rearranged my furniture.
(The carpet should have been removed when we moved in)
I was pretty bummed though to find that the hardwood floors under the carpet are covered in paint globs and paint splatters from the previous homeowner but i'm glad that awful carpet it gone. The colors and paints I used are listed below along with some before and after photos.
